    About This Episode

In this episode of Bumperpodcast, host Natty Bumpercar returns after weather-related delays to share his relief about having heat and power restored. He humorously rambles about the bizarre weather pattern that brought snow right after a hurricane, making the episode late. Natty playfully experiments with different voices while discussing Einstein's E=mc² and reflects on the simple pleasures he missed during the power outage, like taking showers and having food in his fridge. The episode takes a whimsical turn as he contemplates what a snowman might smell like and whether snowmen would enjoy cotton candy.

    Memorable Quotes

“I have heat thank you I have power thank you and there's snow everywhere there's snow everywhere what there was just a hurricane last like last week”

    — Natty Bumpercar

“I'm terrified that if I fill it up again it's all gonna go bad and then smell funny because that's what happens when I put food in my fridge the whole world loses power”

    Bumperpodcast #149 – Pea Soup

What is on Bumpercar’s mind today? Pea soup – that is what … and why?! Well – because of the weather and also because he is hungry.

Do you know any good recipes? Let us know by sending an email to bumperpodcast@nattybumpercar.com – because – we are keeping track!

    Why am I always hungry?!

    About This Episode

In Bumperpodcast episode 149, Natty Bumpercar sits outside headquarters on a foggy day, pondering what lies beyond the thick mist. This contemplation leads him down an unexpected culinary rabbit hole as he defends pea soup's reputation and attempts to reverse-engineer a pea soup recipe on the spot. Despite not having an actual recipe on hand, Natty enthusiastically improvises ingredients including peas, chicken stock, cream, butter, onions, and garlic. His cooking advice takes a questionable turn when he suggests adding copious amounts of flour to make it "thick like pea soup" until it resembles play-doh. The episode showcases Natty's charming stream-of-consciousness style and his talent for turning simple observations into delightfully absurd comedy.

    Memorable Quotes

“It's as thick as pea soup which i gotta say pea soup really gets a bit… bad rap it's really more delicious than you would ever expect it to be”

    — Natty Bumpercar

“How was your pea soup well it was quite unctuous thank you bumper car must have used his olive oil oh well of course he did”

    — Natty Bumpercar

“We're gonna put just a lot of flour just a lot of flour because that'll thicken it up and turn it into play-doh and that's a good idea right”
