Super Old Painting #4
StuffI don’t think that I have put this up for you to see yet – but if I have – let me know – and I will shut the site down. It is the first part of a two part painting that I did long long ago – by the name of “BOOM” – all together it was six feet tall by about fourteen feet long . . . this one by itself is six feet tall by seven feet long (ooh the math!).
I am not sure if this painting still exists – the last time that I saw it – it was in a garage with a big rip in it . . . so my advice – kids – is that if you absolutely have to paint huge paintings (which I really really do enjoy doing) – then at least get really really good photos of them (preferably) before they get ripped – or else you will be sad.
I think that I painted this sometime around 1996 . . . so it is pretty old.
If I can find the other half – I will post it for you kids to see too.

The song in my head –
StuffA couple of nights ago – me and my only were hanging out watching some new (for me) iteration of mtv that was playing every single Kanye West video ever (except of course for the best one – which). It was quite a treat and we danced around in our little chairs like we knew that people weren’t watching.
There were two songs – in particular that were great – and we somehow heard both of them twice – so consider me quite the knowledgeable young expert.
The first song was “Hip-Hop Saved My Life” by Lupe Fiasco off of his album “The Cool” – I am really a fan of how sparse the song is and the use of the phrase “somethin’ – somethin’ – somethin’ . . .”
The second – most dance around in our seats song of the night – and the song that is currently coming and going in my head is “American Boy” by West London born Estelle off of her album “Shine.” I read on her wiki that Estelle’s real name is Fanta . . . it makes me really question the validity of the information that lurks on wikipedia – sometimes
Alright – done being a dork for today.

Did You Say Stickers?
StuffHowdy everybody!
I can’t believe that it is pretty much spring – and I haven’t asked you if you need any stickers – because what goes better with the season of spring than getting nifty stickers in the mail?!
All you need to do is send me an email (or I guess leave a comment) that tells me that you want to get in on some sticker action – and then – just like bingo-bango-bong – Socks will drop some stickers into the post box for ya.
Sometimes – from what I have heard – some other nifties sneak into the envelope as well . . .
So – what are you waiting for???

Hello Doctor . . .
StuffToday – I ended up shuttling myself over to see the doctor – mostly because of this chronic illness (yes – a week is chronic to me) and also because going to the doctor is such a blast. Luckily – a little bird was able to give me all of the information that I needed – from all the way across the country – or else I would never have had any idea as to how to find a doctor to go to, what kind of insurance I (evidently) have – or any of that other stuff that most people seem to be able to navigate all by themselves . . . it was bad enough that there were forms to fill out . . . I am miserable with forms – of any kind. I would rather draw cupcakes.
Anyways-er-oonie – the doctor was swell – and basically said that I have some sort of viral thing – and that all of the room spinning dizziness that I have been enjoying for the last couple of days is part of the bug – and it should all go away in a couple of weeks. Yeah – a couple of weeks.
She did assure me – after this great test where she grabbed my head and twisted it to the side three quick times before laying me down and flashing a light into my eyes – that I was young – and that there weren’t really any chances of it being a stoke. So that was reassuring.
Now I am off to squirt some stuff up my nose, take the dog for a walk and then adventure over to an airport to find my little lost bird that is currently flying her way home.
Squirt – squirt – walk – walk – tweet – tweet – tweet.
