So – this is Shirtsy. He is – evidently – a shirt that has some legs (for mobility) and a really big face (proportional to his shirt body – that is).

He was made as a favor for a friend of mine’s website and at one point – he had little arms (I was of the opinion that his sleeves were ears) . . . but the decision was made to surgically remove his arms and then to enact a much more subversive procedure and turn what were hie ears (his sleeves) into . . . hold your breath here . . . his arms.

The operation was a complete success – and I think that the rehabilitation period is almost over. He had to learn to use his ears as arms . . .

He is a good times loving – fun times having kind of shirt – and while he isn’t actively looking to date – I would guess that he wouldn’t be at all against it if some fetching lass wanted to go out for a night on the town with him.

He is a shirt

His name is Shirtsy.

It has been (shockingly) five long years since the last time that Snowflake and all of his pals played around here on this site – but now – all of that has changed! So go check out the main page of the site to find the newest comic right there . . . and if you have no clue as to who Snowflake is – then go to (www.nattybumpercar.com/snowflake.html) to find out more about the characters.

To kind of – sort of catch you up to speed – here are the last two panels from the last strip – from oh so very very long ago – enjoy!

Can you even think of a better way to keep up to date with world events than this?!

I probably can’t.

Goodness – but I have been sitting on this for awhile (which – by-the-by – is not any kind of proper way to treat a tasty burger) – and now is the proper time to unleash this particular taste upon the planet.

Now – everyone doff your hats and bow your heads because – today is for “The United States of Burger.”

Here is what you will need.

  • Hamburger
  • Crispy Bacon Crumbles
  • Apples
  • BBQ sauce (make sure to get a good one – mine was smoky and crummy)
  • Grated American Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Alright – did you crisp your bacon? If not – my new technique involves cooking it on a rack in a cookie sheet in the oven. For 10-15 minutes – with the oven set to 400. Flip it at some point – if you would be a dear.

Peel your apples, core them and then cut them into little cubes.

Mix everything together – you kind of have to eyeball this to taste – and then throw a teeny tiny patty into a frying pan – so that you can get an idea as to what you have just made. Adjust the mixture accordingly, patty them puppies up and then throw them on the grill.
