    Natty Bumpercar: hey oh bumper podcast what do you know i know you know something but i don't know what it is i know a lot of things but i'm not allowed to tell them there's secrets i know a lot of secrets here's one of the secrets reset up the phones we're gonna take calls let's do one right now what do you think all right it's ringing so everybody ready should be uh we got a ringing telephone in uh oh wait there's another ring oh that's a ring okay wait okay too many phones too many phones too many phones too many phones what okay one of the phones has got to stop ringing because i don't no one's even answering who did we call does anyone know you made a couple of okay well we're still ringing no bumper podcast we evidently i thought we had set up the phones and we were gonna take calls today and uh it didn't work out okay that's that it's not even a real phone at that point it's not even who are we calling like it is my bell like who are we i don't understand podcast i apologize i thought i'd i was excited because i thought that some preparation had gone into the show i i sat down today i was handed a sheet of paper here and it said today we are gonna make phone calls and i said that's amazing we're gonna talk to people finally we're gonna get some people on live because really that's what you guys have been asking for and so we had the phone bank set up we had phone numbers i guess they dialed and nobody there was no one there and um i don't know oh no this is interesting look at this i was just handed this fax uh from a concerned listener mr natty bumper car i have been listening to your bumper podcast for quite some time now i do not like it i do not like it one bit i kind of wish that i was not even listening right now but i am and i have decided to send you this fax sorry it's very blurry fax to uh implore you to cease and just dismiss i think it's supposed to be cease and desist but it It says here, cease and dismiss.

    Natty Bumpercar: can i can i tell you guys wait i think i was normally when you can i you say like can i get a witness wait i have the metronome on man i'm dying here one second please all right i'm back now for you that was no time at all but for me there was i had to find metronome and turn it off because what i was hearing in my my ear was my babbling the music and so i was keeping i was i was i was babbling to a four four time and well we are off the rails today uh and i and i have to tell you why and i'm not blaming it on anyone but it's my new roommate you and he uh he i talked about him last week it's very exciting it was it still is it's tremendously exciting stuff uh he doesn't like i mean he doesn't like to sleep and uh i i can't sleep because i'm constantly um is the new roommate breathing what's the new roommate doing over there at 4 a.m when he he's gurgling he's making some funny noises let's go see what he's doing sleep no who needs to sleep sleep is for the week and for the people who don't have uh roommates i have a code word for my baby it's that he's my roommate and i didn't know if i was being explicit enough but i needed you to know i was supposed to this week talk about things i had topics i i i'd been i've been inventing things that i think are going to change the world that we live in today to make it a better place not one of those inventions that uh a slippery slope that takes us to badville bad time bad bad hold on bad sylvania that's what i was trying to say but my my uh my my lips kind of went oh i I gotta let you guys know the baby we had a code word my roommate he's awesome he's great i just have to figure out how to sleep again because my i was my bone marrow was tired the crust on my eyes has crust the dust on my dust has dust i don't know what that even means i just know i'm so sleepy all the time and i don't want to bring that to the bumper podcast so i shan't well maybe i shan i don't know we're gonna try to shan not but we might shan yes so it could shan either way and i just need to know i just need to make sure that you kids are with me solidarity

    Natty Bumpercar: oh oh oh i i have a question my hand is raised i'm right over here i think you should probably hello hello yes thank you um i'm so thrilled that you're back you came back to listen to this thing again and that's that shows gumption what's that that wasn't a question all right well just take it for what it is so here we have welcome back this this is a load of papers suggestions that came into the suggestion box via snail mail uh probably people i guess tracked me down i don't know this was just on my desk stack of papers um from the last show the first show people were saying uh there's one we have here up top it just says make it funnier and clearly i i that's out of my hands i i am not the one who is in charge of the funny uh i am just the voice there's other there's writer this is a an organization there are writers in the background there are people giving me topics there are people saying hey this week i want you to talk about this this week i want you to make fun of this current event because you're topical we want this thing to be topical and we want people to know that you're on the cutting edge of what's going on in the world today so make it funnier i should talk to my producers about that uh this one was easy the second one less bears i won't i told you last time i it was a tangent i didn't mean to talk about bears but i did so this time i'm going to talk about bears and i'm going to talk about bears and i'm going to talk about bears and i'm going to talk about bears and i'm going to talk about bears and i'm going to and moving forward i'm guessing unless we get some sort of exclusive interview with a bear that there won't there won't be anything about bears at all i mean you know maybe a little nod to the bear bear bear nation the bear world but other than that that's it what's going on bears how you doing out there that's it just like that um a lot let's see oh i don't i don't i don't i don't not want you guys to get excited because there are not there are many not many exciting surprises that are coming i realize i'm already at this thing three minutes last week 6 40 i haven't talked about anything except for these suggestions if you want to send more suggestions send them to bumper podcast at natty bumper car because we're legit we're too legit next week i might actually talk about something but honestly between you and me i can't promise anything all right
