Here is one of a series of little green compositions that I found in a box the other day. I think that I did them while playing around with bits of paper and glue way back in my Brooklyn days . . . way back in my Brooklyn days. I’ll put one up every so often for you to peep – peep – peep.
That is right everyone – my brush has dabbled into some paint, hit a canvas and produced some splendid paintigs of penguins. The fun thing (for me) is that even though the structure of the composition in each of the paintings is the same – all of them turn out slightly different – making it seem like “Penguin Portrait Day” at Penguin Academy where they all line up to hold onto a heart and have their picture painted.
They are on 8″ x 10″ pre-stretched canvases, are painted with acrylics and hopefully are the signal that I get to actually start making things that barely have anything to do with a computer – for a change.
If you can’t live without one – then go to my bumperstore and pick one up.
Otherwise – just tell me . . . which penguin is your favorite?
