Howdy everybody, it’s Natty and I’m starting the episode off slightly different today, because I want to thank some people. I have been looking at the numbers that have been coming in for the people listening and it’s super cool. So hi, India, how are you? So many people in India? I don’t have like a breakdown of where but I’m thrilled that you’re listening Australia. I see you. Nepal, what high. Singapore is Bangladesh, United Kingdom. The it’s I mean, it’s, it’s there’s all these countries. It’s really fun. So thanks again for listening. I super appreciate it. Make sure to tell all your friends and spread the word. All right, you found something fun. All right, we’re gonna get to the episode now. Hey, make sure to listen all the way to the end. Because there’s a cool thing that happens. It’s an outro. That’s right. And we’re working on transcripts of all the episodes. So pretty fun stuff happening behind the scenes. And with that, it’s the bumperpodcast.
All right, today we’re going to talk a little bit about shared experiences. Oh, hi, bumper podcast. My name is Natty Bumpercar. Welcome to the show. Today we’re going to talk about shared experiences.
Aloysius J. Pig 1:21
Wait a minute. Could you just repeat the thing that you just said? Twice? Like right over he like you said it and then you don’t understand?
Producer 1:29
Yeah, I distinctly heard him. She said something about share share of experiences and shared experiences. Share, share, share. I don’t okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So it was I was a little,
Natty Bumpercar 1:46
yes. Okay. So yes, shared experiences. And what is that? That’s like, when some people, it’s like you have an experience. Right? And then other people maybe have the same experience. But here’s the crazy thing. Maybe they see it from a different perspective.
Doodle Poodle 2:02
Does that make sense? Hi, it’s me doodle. actually makes a lot of sense because maybe somebody who’s an artist drawing perspective, two point perspective. Three point perspective.
Aloysius J. Pig 2:26
Many perspectives you’re gonna do. Yeah. Okay, so I don’t think Natty did that should take the the type of perspective that you’re talking about. But you can tell us so you continue with desk because we’re almost two minutes in and we haven’t even I don’t know what we’re doing. Good
Natty Bumpercar 2:47
point. Good point. Good point. Okay. So wait, shared experiences. So, the other day, we all went to the lake? Right? And so I figure we’ll talk about the lake and what happened to us at the lake
Rufus T. Rufus 3:02
so I am contractually legally and in probably not allowed to talk about what happened at the lake. Exactly. It’s one of those situations if you understand if you catch my drift if you kept them. I mean, no,
Aloysius J. Pig 3:20
is it like one of them? What happened at the lake stays? I did like type of situations.
Doodle Poodle 3:27
I mean, honestly, when I hear him say that he can’t talk about what happened though. Like it made me really curious as to what happened to the lake
Producer 3:38
producer and I’m also more interested and curious as to what happened at the like with you there Mr. refis TV? Can you please just give us now I’m
Rufus T. Rufus 3:55
no I don’t feel like acclimated to the situation, and I don’t feel protected by the legality and the legal ease and such as that and so I don’t know, maybe someone else should should begin. And then maybe I’ll be able to just kind of jump in and and pepper it a little bit with my respective perspective, if you understand, okay, yeah,
Natty Bumpercar 4:22
that totally makes sense. And I appreciate that you’re at least willing to try. So I guess I’ll start if that’s okay with everybody. Yeah, of course. You’re gonna start it’s your show. Are you make sense right.
Producer 4:35
Now, but you can go ahead and you can set the table. The bumper pancakes. Okay, producer, okay. Well, yeah. Okay. All right. Good. Yeah.
Natty Bumpercar 4:44
So I went to the lake the other day. It was so hot like the sun was out. There were no clouds in the sky bright blue. And, you know, it was nice, like the grass was all moan moan mode
motivated.
The grass was nice and short. Is it motivated moden moden it’s probably mowed the grass, someone had mold in the grass. And so it was nice and short. And you guys know, around the lake, there’s that path. And so you can walk all the way around the lake. And I was I was walking, and I saw there was a mama duck and, and her babies, and they were just right in the water right at the edge of the lake. And they were it was the cutest thing. And then, so they were all kind of huddled up together. And when I got a little closer, the mom she kind of turned and looked at me. And then she started swimming just in in the lake and then the baby ducks. They all one by one, they fell in behind her like in a little line. And it was wherever she went. The little baby ducks just kind of like little little, it’s like they were attached with a string. They just kind of went to the loo and followed the mommy duck and it was it was really sweet. And then something weird happened kind of across the lake. Not too far away. But you know, I could hear stuff I couldn’t really see what’s going on. There was this huge calamity like a huge there was people yelling and then emergency vehicles showed up and the the ducks kind of went away and hid. But I don’t know what that’s all about because I couldn’t see it but I got to see the ducks and I was it was a beautiful day the air smelled clean. And I brought food so I had a nice snack and it was it was just like a perfect day I was communing with nature it was you know it
was it was very nice.
Aloysius J. Pig 6:42
Yeah, that’s okay. So I when I was at the lake because we all got deep roughly the same time I didn’t see any dogs no ducklings, none of that sounds nice. But I always kind of over by the snack bar where they you know, I have a credit day and wait,
Natty Bumpercar 6:58
you have a credit at the snack bar. How does that happen?
Aloysius J. Pig 7:01
Well, yeah, you say put it on bumper guys to wait.
Natty Bumpercar 7:04
What is that? why I’ve been getting a bill from the snack bar. I got into an argument with them on the phone because I was like what are all these charges? Like I’m not I’ve rarely I bring my own snacks. Why are you buying things with under my name?
Aloysius J. Pig 7:18
Natty just look at the records here. When’s the last time that you paid us to do the show for me at all really
Rufus T. Rufus 7:25
reminds me that I need to be working on some contract extensions and some some edits and I need to run it up the flagpole. And I need to blue skies a little bit and get some perspective on the money situation is going on here. Especially poignant in this current time for me, which I’ll talk about I don’t I don’t know if I can.
Natty Bumpercar 7:50
Alright. Cool. So anyway, pig, you live in headquarters for free. There’s food here all the time that you don’t pay for. So I know I don’t pay you and I apologize for that. But I do feel like there’s a lot of nice benefits that you get for being on the podcast. Yeah. Is all I’m saying.
Aloysius J. Pig 8:09
Sure. Anyway, time I’m there. I’m at the snack bar, I’m eating a nice bread. And then all of a sudden, there’s you scream outside, right? I’m inside. It’s outside, but you could still hear it then there’s like emergency vehicles. It’s people running. And it was it was it was a lot to take in really. I mean, I didn’t leave the table because one time I left the table and they came in they cleared the table off and threw it all away and let’s just wasteful. Okay, I can’t do that. But that other time. What I did because I was still hungry is that it’s went up and I doubled up on my order on your tab, which I do appreciate I you know, now that we’re talking I
Natty Bumpercar 8:49
would rather you not do that. Okay.
Aloysius J. Pig 8:51
Anyway, so I just finished my lunch really, it was too hot to be outside.
Doodle Poodle 8:56
Wait. So I was at the lake. It was a nice day. Hi, I was I set up a nice spot and I was making drawings I was making everything I could do wrong on some grass. Sky almost made a doodle duck in her ducklings, but they swam away. I was looking at my canvas by the snack bar, I heard somebody somebody yelling and then I didn’t know what was going on. So I couldn’t draw because there was too much noise going on. I couldn’t see
Rufus T. Rufus 9:49
what I would rather we stop let’s let’s stop focusing on the on the snack bar or whatever over there and whatever might have happened because maybe it didn’t happen. Maybe not. Didn’t happen maybe you guys were hearing different things people do tend to yell at the lake when there’s situations. Excited, they’re happy. They’re seeing baby ducklings and whatnot. So perhaps we should just focus in Bumpercar you saw your dogs Aloysius you were eating your food due to food or you guess doodling as you do and then we just move on.
Natty Bumpercar 10:27
I don’t try Okay, so maybe Allah Rufus, you can tell us what what you were up to, since you’re kind of dictating what what we saw or didn’t see. And maybe, maybe that’ll help us just to get your perspective.
Producer 10:43
All right, Natty. Actually, I will jump in here if he thought okay, since I was at the lake with you guys, and I was floating on a lily pad is a Duke is like I’m a frog. And all of a sudden, a sigh. Mr. Rufus is walking along the path, he was wearing a cowboy hat.
Rufus T. Rufus 11:06
I’d like to strike this from the record if we could. This frog does not know what I look like from a distance I couldn’t. It couldn’t have been any man wearing cowboy hat walking around the path. Okay, and stained, produced. So you may continue stood continue then continue. Yeah.
Producer 11:27
He was walking or maybe reverse was walking. And all of a sudden. I guess there was a family with a child who was in his way. And he didn’t walk around him. He was trying to like move to the side I suppose. But the kid got really close and Rufus got scared or so I don’t know really what happened and Rufus raised his hand and when he did he pushed the child into the like and then there was screaming by the parents who were very upset and then no and I
Rufus T. Rufus 12:03
cannot confirm nor deny any of this and I refuse to back your story up and I don’t even know if I was handling and when do we even talk and you rode with us there so you were definitely
Aloysius J. Pig 12:15
there and I do remember you wearing a cowboy hat so a little place did you actually knock a kid into the
Rufus T. Rufus 12:21
light I cannot will not shall not won’t not agree or disagree to communicate my advocation of India this summer as you know, what happens at the lake stays at the lake. Also. I may not be here next week as I have appointed meaning will say
Natty Bumpercar 12:43
okay, okay, cool. Well, after you have your meeting if you need a lawyer because I have a great lawyer that you can talk
Rufus T. Rufus 12:50
to not appreciate you taking joy in this Bumpercar
Aloysius J. Pig 12:53
Yeah, watch out Natty. He’s gonna push you in the lake too,
Producer 12:57
when I be a witness. That sort of thing.
Natty Bumpercar 13:00
Yay perspective.

Doodle Poodle: It's me, Doodle Poodle. And actually, it makes a lot of sense. Because being somebody who's an artist and who likes to make drawings, I know all about perspective. There's two-point perspective. And three-point perspective. And four-point perspective. And…
Rufus T. Rufus: How many perspectives is he going to do?
Doodle Poodle: Okay.
Rufus T. Rufus: Yeah.
Doodle Poodle: There's a lot of different perspectives. That's all I'm saying. We get it.
Natty Bumpercar: Okay. So I don't think, Natty, that that's exactly the type of perspective that you're talking about. But you can tell us. So you continue with this. Natty Bumpercar: Uh, now, I don't feel, uh, like acclimated, uh, to the situation and I don't feel, uh, protected, uh, by the legality and the legalese and, and such as that. Producer: Works for me. Uh, yeah, of course. Now that you can go out and you can, uh, set the table because you're the host of the Bumper Podcast with Matthew Bumper. Okay, producer. Okay, we got it. Yeah, okay. Okay.
Natty Bumpercar: Yeah, so, um, I went to the lake the other day. It was so hot. Like, the sun was out. There were no clouds in the sky. Bright blue. And, um, you know, it was nice. Rufus T. Rufus: Uh, Nutty, just, just look at the, records here, when's the least time that you paid us to do this show for, I mean, at all, really?
Natty Bumpercar: Now that reminds me that I need to be working on some contract extensions and some, uh, some edits and, uh, I need to run it up the, the flagpole and I need to blue sky it a little bit and get some perspective on, uh, the money situation that's going on here. I would rather you not. Do that, okay? Okay, anyway, so I just finished my, my, my lunch, really. It was too hot to be outside, way too hot.
Doodle Poodle: Um, so when I was at the lake, it was a nice day and I was, um, I set up a nice spot and I was making drawings. I was making doodles of everything I could see at the lake. I made a doodle of some grass and I made a doodle of the sky and I almost made a doodle. Of a duck and her ducklings, but they swam away.
Unknown: Purr, purr.
Doodle Poodle: And, well, I was looking at my canvas and all of a sudden, over kind of by the snack bar, I heard kind of a, uh, some, like, uh, uh, somebody yelling and then I didn't know what was going on. And then I couldn't draw because there was too much noise going on.
Natty Bumpercar: Yep.
Doodle Poodle: But I couldn't see anything.
Natty Bumpercar: Well, now, uh, what I, I would. Rather we stop. Let's, let's stop focusing on the, uh, on the snack bar or whatever over there and whatever might have happened because maybe it didn't happen. Maybe nothing happened. Maybe, uh, you guys were hearing different things. People do tend to yell at the lake when there's situations. They're excited. They're happy. They're seeing, uh, baby ducklings and whatnot. Uh, so perhaps, uh, we should just focus. Bumper car, you saw your ducks. Uh, Aloysius, you were eating your food. Uh. Doodle food. You were, uh, uh, I guess doodling as you do. And then, and we just move on, on from that. Uh, I don't try. Okay. So maybe, uh, Rufus, you can tell us what, what you were up to since you're kind of dictating what, what we saw or didn't see. And maybe, maybe that'll help us just to get your perspective.
Producer: Uh, Nadi, actually, I will jump in here if it's okay. Since I was at, also at the lake with you guys. And I was floating on a lily pad, as I do, because I am a frog. And, um, all of a sudden, I, I, I, I saw, uh, Mr. Rufus T. Rufus walking along the path. He was wearing a cowboy hat.
Natty Bumpercar: Uh, I'd like to, uh, strike this from the record if we could. Uh, this frog does not know what I look like from a distance. I could, it, it, I, it, it could have been any man wearing a cowboy hat walking around the path. Uh, okay. Uh, abstained. Uh, producer, you may continue. Understood. Continue then. Continue. All right. Here we go.
Producer: So, um, Rufus, he was walking, or maybe Rufus was walking. And all of a sudden, um, I guess there was a, a family with a, a child who was in his way. And he didn't walk around him. He was trying to, like, move to the side, I suppose. But the kid got really close and Rufus got scared. I don't know really what happened. And Rufus raised his hand. And when he did, he pushed the child into the lake. And then they were screaming about the parents who were very upset. And then, uh, the police came.
Natty Bumpercar: Well, now, I cannot confirm nor deny any of this. And I refuse to, uh, back your story up. And I don't even know if I was at the lake then. What day are we even talking about? You were, you rode with us there. So you were definitely there. And I do remember you wearing a cowboy hat. So… Wait, Rufus. Did you seriously? Did you seriously knock a kid into the lake? I cannot, will not, shall not, won't not agree or disagree to communicate my, uh, advocation of any of this. So as you know, what happens at the lake stays at the lake. Also, I may not be here next week as I have a court-appointed meeting, we'll say. Okay. Okay. Cool. Well, after you have your meeting, if you need a lawyer, because I have a great lawyer that you can talk to. I do not appreciate you taking joy in this bumper car. Yeah, watch out, Natty, or else he's going to push you in the lake, too.
